NRPC Studio was founded with the intention of providing accessible arts education. I believe that no matter where you are or your financial situation, you should be allowed to invest in yourself and your passions. Our sessions are taught both virtually and in person to insure that.

With your contribution we are able to provide a free session to students who are currently unable to financially invest in their craft.

Why give?

    The performing arts offer a safe environment to express or reflect on difficult emotions. Through the arts, performers can focus, process and release their emotions in a way that is helpful for managing mental health.

    As of 2020, only 19 states include arts as a key area of their state accountability system, and just 13 have done a statewide report on arts education in the last 5 years.

    The arts are recognized as a core academic subject under the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and, as of 2020, all 50 states plus the District of Columbia have adopted standards for learning in the arts.

    Participation in the arts has been shown to lead to increased academic achievement; it helps young people develop attributes and skills such as practice and perseverance, team-work and creative problem-solving that they'll use in their personal and professional lives throughout their lifetimes.

    Two-thirds of public school teachers believe that the arts are being crowded out of the school day. By giving, you provide arts programming outside of school.

    Non-white students of underserved communities have less access to arts education outside of school than their white peers.

  • All donations are put back into the Studio. The donations are used for class materials, studio rental fees, etc.

  • Donors are given the option to make a one time, weekly, or monthly. For recurring donations, you are able to stop whenever you’d like.
