BIOGRAPHY

Nadia Ra’Shaun is a New York City based performing artist and theatre maker.

Born and Raised in Omaha, Nebraska, she began performing as an elementary school student at Skinner Magnet Center, a performing arts magnet school. By the age of 9 she had made her community stage debut at the John Beasley Theater.

Nadia was recently seen in the US National Tour of HAIRSPRAY as a Swing and Understudy for Little Inez and The Dynamites, and the North American Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON as Asmeret and an Understudy for Nabulungi. She is the recipient of the 2019 Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award for her portrayal of Viveca Stanton in Kirstin Childs’ The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin. Nadia’s work as a performing artist has been seen in theaters around North America, from Charlotte, North Carolina to Calgary, Alberta.
